What should I select?

This is a question we are asked every day! Here’s a quick guide to appropriate selections based on your budget and relation to the deceased or their family.

IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER or NEXT OF KIN

Are you an immediate family member, or a partner of the deceased? The next-of-kin is usually responsible for the casket spray or urn surround arrangement. If you are planning a memorial service that includes a casket, please reference the CASKET FLOWERS section of our website. If you are having an open casket service, a half-sized casket spray is a correct choice. If you are having a closet casket service, please choose a full-size spray.

If you are conducting a celebration of life service that includes cremated remains, an Urn Surround arrangement, found in the CREMATION FLOWERS section of our website is the appropriate choice. If the urn selected has an unusual shape, please call us to make arrangements so we can make sure the piece is designed to accommodate such an urn.

If you would like to add a scripted ribbon to the casket spray or urn surround, please choose this as an add-on item. Typically, these ribbons reference the relation the deceased was to you. Choose from “Loving”, “Dearest” or “Beloved” as the first word, and then the relation they were to you.

CLOSE RELATIVES/FRIENDS

If the immediate family has taken care of casket or cremation florals, then you may want to choose a product from our STANDING EASEL SPRAYS selection. In this category, you’ll find a number of different styles that are typically displayed close to the casket or urn. You can also look at the pedestal or vase arrangements found in the FRESH FLOWERS FOR FUNERALS section. Selecting a scripted ribbon will let visitors know that the arrangement is from a close family member or friend.
